The Opportunity: We are working with a growing international technology consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Project Management Manager to lead and develop its Project Management function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong technology delivery professional who enjoys managing complex client projects but also wants to take greater ownership of people leadership, delivery standards and overall portfolio performance. The business operates across enterprise technology, ERP modernisation and cloud transformation, delivering large-scale solutions to international clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing a high-performing team of Project Managers, strengthening delivery processes and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from both a customer and commercial perspective. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers, creating a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Oversee a portfolio of enterprise technology and transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines, budgets and customer expectations.
Take direct ownership of selected client projects while providing leadership and guidance across the wider delivery portfolio.
Drive improvements in project governance, reporting, delivery methodologies and operational performance.
Manage project risks, escalations, resource requirements and changing business priorities.
Work closely with senior stakeholders, customers and internal delivery teams to maintain strong relationships and positive project outcomes.
Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasting, resource utilisation and commercial performance.
Support the continued growth and development of the Professional Services function.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience delivering complex technology projects, ideally within enterprise software, ERP, cloud or IT consulting environments.
Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing Project Managers or technology delivery teams.
A solid understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies and portfolio management.
Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets, forecasting, resource planning and scope management.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business and technology leaders.
A proven ability to improve delivery processes and introduce more effective ways of working.
Comfortable balancing hands-on project delivery with wider leadership responsibilities.
Experience with Oracle, JD Edwards or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure would be advantageous but is not essential.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent project management qualifications would be beneficial.
