The Role We’re working with a leading FMCG business who are kicking off a major supply chain transformation and need a strong, experienced Project Manager to lead it. This is a traditional PM role rather than agile or Scrum, so we need someone who’s comfortable running structured, waterfall style governance across a complex, cross functional programme. You’ll be the person in the room translating business need into a real plan and holding everyone to it.
What you’ll be doing Owning end to end delivery of the supply chain transformation project, from planning through to go live. Building and maintaining detailed project plans, RAID logs, budgets and governance packs. Running steering committees and reporting into senior stakeholders across the business. Coordinating across supply chain, logistics, procurement, IT and operations to keep everyone aligned. Managing third party vendors and implementation partners where involved. Identifying risks early and driving mitigation before they become issues. Keeping a tight grip on scope, budget and timeline throughout.
What we’re looking for Strong track record running large scale transformation projects, ideally within supply chain, logistics or operations. Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or a similarly complex operational environment. Comfortable with traditional project management methodology and governance, PRINCE2 or PMP background would suit well. Confident presenting to and managing senior stakeholders. Strong grip on budgets, RAID logs and formal reporting. Used to working with cross functional teams and third party vendors.
Nice to have Experience with ERP or WMS implementations (SAP, Oracle or similar). Background in demand planning, warehousing or logistics network design. Change management experience.
