The Role We’re looking for an experienced Agile PM/Scrum Master hybrid to join a busy delivery team within the insurance sector. You’ll be running the show day to day on an agile delivery, wearing both hats: driving the project plan, budget and stakeholder reporting like a PM, while also owning ceremonies, backlog health and team flow like a Scrum Master. It’s a mainly remote role with just one day a week in the Dublin office, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing a hybrid team and building relationships without being in the room every day.
What you’ll be doing Leading end to end delivery of an agile project or programme, owning the plan, budget, risks and stakeholder updates. Acting as Scrum Master for one or more squads, running standups, sprint planning, reviews and retros. Keeping the backlog in shape alongside the Product Owner and making sure the team has clear priorities. Reporting into senior stakeholders and translating delivery status into something the business actually understands. Coaching the team on agile ways of working and removing blockers as they come up. Managing vendors or third parties where relevant to the delivery.
What we’re looking for Solid experience doing both PM and Scrum Master work, not just one or the other. Background delivering in insurance or financial services would be a big plus given the client base. Strong stakeholder management, comfortable presenting to senior leadership. Hands on with JIRA and Confluence. Scrum or agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe or similar). Used to hybrid or distributed teams and able to keep momentum without constant face to face contact.
