My client is a global IT Consultancy brand working with multinational firms to provide long term IT guidance in the area of Cloud performance. The role will be Dublin based (a hybrid onsite in Dublin city with WFH also) so will suit someone based within commuting distance of the City.
Currently they have partnered with IT Search to speak to a GCP Architect to work on specific cloud ingestion of data projects with a specific client in Dublin, developing, designing and managing Google Cloud Platforms on behalf of specific firms.
The role will be to work across Security and related aspects of client deployment processes, adding GCP expertise as part of a larger team of GCP Architects and DevOps Engineers/SREs, liaising directly regularly with client teams.
Responsibilities:
Managing data collection, ETL processes and implementing utilising services (DataFlow/Fusion etc)
Design various native applications bringing experience in Kubernetes/Compute Engines and more
Work with internal colleagues to implement various data models within ML
Maintaining and improving security concerns as well as Cloud Migration architecture
Working closely with customers, deepening relationships and representing my client
Requirements:
10+ years of Cloud based experience, including working directly with third party customers
Deep knowledge of GCP Services, best practices and a track record of successful delivery (Certifications a bonus)
Networking, scripting and infrastructure knowledge, DWH experience, data pipelining and any Big Data hands on experience very welcome (Hadoop, Spark etc)
