Senior SRE – Financial Services – Dublin 2 (WFH/onsite hybrid)
Our client is a global Financial Institution, with its Dublin base managing acting as European hub for various subsidiaries. They have engaged us to speak to SREs with experience of setting up greenfield sites within a larger organisation.
Initially this role is work across multiple teams and internal stakeholders to set up delivery capacity, bringing technical leadership across incident management as well as reliability
The role:
- Work with Senior Management team across EMEA to set up and lead SRE processes from the Dublin City office, taking a lead role within this team (cloud and on prem)
- Take responsibility for reliability, releases and related stability
- Manage observability capability, IaC, CI/CD to automate appropriate processes
Requirements:
- 10+ years of SRE Leadership, including setting up this function within ideally a multinational
- Deep technical knowledge within storage, compute, networking, IaC and CI/CD
- Financial Services background a strong benefit, or another heavily regulated environment (certifications in DORA for instance will be of interest)
- Exceptional communication skills, reporting, mentoring colleagues, bringing clear instructions to teams with the expectation of delivery
- Certifications such as Kubernetes, Infrastructure, Cloud etc will be required
