Senior Project Manager – Technology Delivery
Location: Dublin (Leopardstown) 3 days onsite 2 days off

Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong background in end-to-end technology project delivery. This role is accountable for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of complex technology and change initiatives across the business.
You will lead cross-functional teams using both Agile and traditional methodologies to deliver key projects involving application development, system integration, process reengineering, infrastructure upgrades, and operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will have a sharp focus on delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and project financials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycle management across multiple concurrent technology and change initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and change management functions to align on goals, timelines, and outcomes.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all technology-related project issues.
- Plan, organise, monitor, and control all phases of the project using appropriate tools, techniques, and governance frameworks.
- Prepare, manage, and track project financials and budgets, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project documentation, reporting, and tracking systems are maintained to a high standard.
- Develop transition and implementation plans, including defining success metrics and change management processes to ensure long-term adoption.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, create agendas, capture actions and decisions, and communicate updates to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 7+ years of proven project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology projects.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including experience as an Agile Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer (RTE).
- Comfortable working across different methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing at senior and executive levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a strong ability to produce high-quality project artefacts and executive updates.
- Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrable experience in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in the financial services industry is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Business, Engineering).
- Agile certification is essential.
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a strong plus.
