We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join a Risk Technology team building cutting-edge web applications for a major global bank. This role focuses on designing and developing high-performance, web-based Java solutions that solve complex business problems for key risk management functions.
*6 month contract to start but expected to roll/extend *3 days onsite weekly in South Dublin *Day Rate 550-650
Required Skills & Experience
Comprehensive knowledge of core Java and modern development standards.
Hands-on experience building enterprise web applications and RESTful APIs using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
Strong relational database expertise and proficient SQL skills.
Practical, hands-on experience working with containerized environments (Docker and Kubernetes).
Proven track record of writing robust unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure system reliability.
Strong written and oral communication skills to work closely with business analysts, cross-functional partners, and global development teams.
