We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join a Risk Technology team building cutting-edge web applications for a major global bank. This role focuses on designing and developing high-performance, web-based Java solutions that solve complex business problems for key risk management functions.
*6 month contract to start but expected to roll/extend
*3 days onsite weekly in South Dublin
*Day Rate 550-650
Required Skills & Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of core Java and modern development standards.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise web applications and RESTful APIs using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
- Strong relational database expertise and proficient SQL skills.
- Practical, hands-on experience working with containerized environments (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of writing robust unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure system reliability.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to work closely with business analysts, cross-functional partners, and global development teams.
