Programme Manager — Android Card Acceptance

  • This is an onsite role 5 days per week
  • Long term engagement
  • Will consider candidates in the EU that are open to relocating

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Android-based card acceptance applications across multiple devices and platforms. This role owns programme planning, cross-team coordination, and clear, executive-level reporting to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery in a regulated payments environment.

What you’ll do

  • Own programme delivery from roadmap to release across Android, POS and supporting services
  • Set up and run programme governance, steering forums, RAID and change control
  • Provide clear, regular status reporting (RAG, milestones, dashboards, exec summaries)
  • Coordinate engineering, product, QA, UX, infra, security and vendors to manage dependencies
  • Manage risks, issues and escalations through to resolution
  • Coordinate releases, deployments and post-release reviews across multi-device environments
  • Track delivery KPIs, quality metrics and benefits realisation
  • Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards (PCI, NEXO)

What you’ll bring

  • Proven programme management experience in a large enterprise environment (fintech/payments preferred)
  • Strong governance, planning, risk and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading agile/DevOps delivery at programme scale
  • Solid understanding of Android/POS application delivery and multi-device ecosystems
  • Comfortable presenting concise status and trade-offs to senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project (or similar) and delivery dashboards
