This non-profit organisation is on the leading edge of an exciting digital transformation journey, with a strong commitment to becoming a Microsoft-centric entity. As part of this transformation, we are in search of an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering ERP projects. This position presents a unique opportunity to work closely with the Head of Transformation and potentially step into a more senior role as the organisation continues to evolve.

Role Overview:
In the capacity of Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of ERP projects within our organisation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects that are critical to our digital transformation roadmap. Your primary responsibilities will encompass overseeing key initiatives, such as client portal development, Dynamics implementation, and asset management product deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and oversee ERP projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Head of Change to define project objectives, scope, and priorities, and act as the second-in-command in project management activities.
  • Team Management: Construct and lead high-performing project teams, nurturing a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with business goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality standards throughout project lifecycles, in adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Change Management: Aid in change management endeavours by facilitating teams’ adaptation to new technologies and processes.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Prepare for the potential transition into a more senior role by actively learning from the Head of Change and refining leadership skills.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, IT, or a related field. An MBA or PMP certification is a valuable advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in effectively managing and delivering ERP projects, preferably within a Microsoft environment.
  • Robust leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive organisational change.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with an emphasis on innovative problem-solving.
