Business Development Manager / Director of Sales opportunity with a cutting-edge biometrics / authentication company. This person will join a small UK sales team based out of the London and should be commuting distance to London city (2-3 days / week).
In this role you would take the lead in driving revenue growth through the direct acquisition of new customers. Key targets are Fintech, Digital Banks, Mid-Tier Financial Services as well as F1000 customers within the Insurance, Gaming, Telecom and Technology Firms
This will suit someone from a similar business with enterprise sales experience within the IDV and Authentication space.
Salary guide is £100-120K base + 40-50K variable + benefits
Responsibilities:
- New logo hunting new business which includes source, find, and close.
- Full management of sales process, including business development, opportunity qualification, and preparation of bid/no bid recommendations and pursuit of the end-to-end sales cycle to close deals.
- Developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with end customers, as well as System Integrators and Technology Partners where applicable.
- Working closely with other teams and other strategic contributors to devise medium- and long-term sales strategies.
- Working closely with all other parts of the company to ensure maximum leverage of resources.
- Growing market segments through direct customer interactions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ market and solution specific sales experience including experience in the IDV and Authentication space
- Relevant sales experience and a background in cybersecurity, identity management space, financial services, or other technology related field relevant to biometric software deployment.
- A proven track record of success driving consultative led complex solution sales/partnerships in overachieving quotas.
- High level contacts and relationships in key end customers, partners, agents with credibility and respect within this community.
