Backend Engineer – Java/Data (Finance) Dublin 4 €60K – €80K p/a + bonus (generous), healthcare, pension etc You’ll be one of the first engineers in Ireland, an extremely highly regarded trading firm with offices all over the world (500 staff in total).
This is ideal for engineers with an interest in finance/trading, you’ll help build out a top-class platform, liaise with the wider business… analysing financial data sets, reporting, building APIs, crafting SQL queries etc. It’s a Java backend stack, but we need people with strong analytics skills, and solid experience creating complex SQL queries.
They have very high calibre individuals, very little “red-tape” in comparison to similar businesses, and the bonus structure can have a big impact on your overall compensation.
The person
2-5 years’ experience as a Backend Engineer.
Java experience.
Strong SQL experience.
Exposure to Python is ideal.
An interest in finance/trading (experience in a similar environment would be great also).
Driven, motivated to learn.
Excellent communicator.
