IT Search has partnered with a fast-scaling technology leader at the forefront of connected systems, EV charging, and smart energy. As adoption accelerates, they are expanding their Customer Success function and now seek a Technical Account Manager with both commercial and engineering expertise.
This is not a pure customer success role – it requires someone who can bridge technical delivery, strategic account growth, and commercial expansion, acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients. You’ll combine an engineering mindset with commercial acumen to help clients unlock flexibility revenue, scale deployments, and shape the future of EV and smart energy ecosystems.
Role Overview
Own client relationships end-to-end, from onboarding and technical integration through to strategic growth and renewals.
Partner with delivery, engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless software + hardware rollouts (OCPP, API integration, white-labelling).
Spot commercial opportunities within accounts and work with leadership on upsell/expansion.
Provide technical and strategic guidance to clients, aligning solutions with their roadmaps and business outcomes.
Lead account reviews and success metrics, ensuring adoption, satisfaction, and long-term value.
Feed market and customer insights into product and commercial strategy.
Requirements
Proven experience in a client-facing technical role (TAM, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or similar).
Blend of technical exposure (software deployment, APIs, SaaS, hardware/connected devices) with commercial/customer success experience.
Background in EV charging, energy systems, or connected hardware/software platforms strongly preferred.
Ability to navigate both technical and commercial conversations – from integration challenges to contract growth.
Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Interest in electric vehicles, clean tech, and smart energy innovation.
Bonus: Experience with mobile platforms (iOS/Android), web apps, or connected ecosystems.
