Technical Writer – South West Ireland – Hybrid Onsite and WFH
Our client is a well known brand in Financial Services and have engaged with IT Search to hire to mid level Technical Writer. The role is hybrid with weekly office visits so you’ll need to be based in the South West.
The role:
To join a small but well established team of technical writers and documentation specialists to create technical specifications for internal and external audiences, documentation and software
Work across manuals for a range of products, some presentations, notes on release etc
Liaise with Product Teams to have all documentation ready for release/upgrades plus build relationships with Project Managers, Engineering Teams and UX/UI
Bring external experience to improve existing processes where needed
Requirements:
5 years of commercial technical writing experience
Exceptional communication skills, a track record of working cross departmentally
Technical experience with a range of documentation projects but also software, API Guides, Software Development Kits
Tools must include Swagger/OpenAPI or related, Adobe suite welcome
Experience with workflow tools (within the MS suite ideally) also beneficial
