Senior Systems Operations Engineer

For our client, an Irish company based in Dublin city centre we are looking for a

Senior Systems Operations Engineer

This is a permanent position , hybrid work structure in Dublin 2

Key responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 technical support for critical applications within the ICT escalation process for end users.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, serve as an escalation point for the L2/L1 tickets
• Management of multiple Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Intune, Power Platform, Power BI, and related applications – Azure AD (Entra ID) infrastructure, Exchange on-prem, and SharePoint on-prem)
• Administer and manage on-premise systems and applications
• Monitor, verify, and maintain daily processes, including logs, alerts, and maintenance plans.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials, Junior staff mentoring

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Systems Support and/or ICT administration roles
• Strong technical background in Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive
• Excellent communication, report writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience mentoring junior staff
• Knowledge of ITIL standards to ensure compliance with governance policies.
