Senior Staff Engineer (DataOps) Dublin City Centre (Remote in Ireland) Circa €150K p/a + RSUs, Healthcare, Pension etc
A hands-on technical leader, you’ll solve complex problems in a high-traffic environment… 50 Terabytes of data on a daily basis, processing 300 Billion transactions per day and a 30% year-on-year growth.
It’s all about scale at the moment, you’ll be working alongside/supporting the engineers and the DevOps team… working on their Databricks platform, building the infrastructure, liaising with the senior leaders and having your say on big architectural decisions.
They have a tech hub in Dublin 1, around 20 engineers and they’ve just announced plans to grow the team – great news. (around 1000 staff all over the world). Fully remote anywhere in Ireland will work, if you’re in and around Dublin that would be great.
What we’re looking for..
10+ years’ software engineering experience.
AWS experience.
Experience working with Databricks.
Experienced with K8s, Terraform etc.
Senior level experience working with Spark and other big data tools.
Good Python &/or Java knowledge.
Experience solving complex problems in high-traffic environments.
A strong technical leader.
