Seeking an experienced developer to join a global team, focusing on the design, enhancement, and support of trading and risk platforms. This role involves close collaboration with trading desks, cross‑functional teams, and external stakeholders to deliver robust, resilient solutions for a high‑velocity environment.
*1 year contract expected to roll *3 days per week onsite *Daily Rate: 600-750 per day (potentially negotiable further for the right candidate) *Need to be available during trading desk hours (9am–7pm)
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Java, Python, REST APIs, and financial data processing.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, version control (Git/SVN), and streaming data protocols (e.g. WebSockets).
Knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Flask, FastAPI, Tornado, and GraphQL.
Understanding of financial instruments and their lifecycle (FICC, derivatives).
Experience or knowledge around trading tools and desks and financial markets
