My client, a well-established leader in their area of Professional Services has engaged IT Search to speak to a senior Security Engineer with specific experience within the Microsoft suite of security tools.
The role is to work closely with the CTO and COO to manage general Security, specific incidents, maintain and improve Microsoft based security, areas of network security and more.

The role:
Work closely with Security Team, C level and Managers to understand and improve areas of security, documentation and training
Identify threats and incidents across on prem and cloud (Azure), 365
Focus on ongoing improvement across Defender, MFA, IAM and more
Liaise with internal teams relating to compliance (27001), policies, audits
With Networking team, ensure all firewall and network security has correct posture
Requirements:
10 years of commercial hands on security experience
Professional Services, banking, consultancy, legal, accounting background a plus
Deep knowledge of MS365, Entra, IAM and cloud (ideally Azure)
Strong Networking experience, TCP/IP, Firewalls etc.
Security Certifications; CISM, CISSP or similar
Exceptional documentation and communication skills
Ability to work 2/3 days in Dublin City Centre per week
