Senior Network Security Engineer opportunity with Dublin 15 based market leading software solutions provider to the Life Science sector.
Salary guide is 80-100K depending on experience level.
It’s a hybrid working model with 2 days a week onsite, however some flexibility is needed in case of rare P1 issue where engineer will be required to visit the data centre (D15)
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on implementation of scalable network solution projects
- Diagnose network issues on routing, switching, security, and data centre implementations.
- Conduct network capacity planning
- Provide L3 support for Technical Services when needed
- Contribute to the development of the Information Security Strategy, including the enhancement of IT security processes and controls.
- Manage the IT Security services – firewall management, monitoring, penetration testing, internet / email filtering.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and
optimization.
- CCNP or CISSP or equivalent.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting complex routing and switching environments.
- Experience managing SonicWall Firewalls and MSL / Layer 3 switches (preferably Dell)
- Experience creating technical documentation, network diagrams, design specs etc
