IT Search has partnered with a global engineering technology company with an established R&D operation in the west of Ireland. They are currently seeking a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join their product development team working on next-generation industrial and embedded technology products.
In this role, you will lead firmware development activities across the full product lifecycle while working closely with electronics, systems and manufacturing teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
What you need:
5+ years’ embedded software/firmware development experience
Strong C/C++ development skills
Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments
ARM microcontroller experience
Strong debugging and low-level embedded development skills
Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers
Desirable:
STM32 experience
Serial communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, RS485 or Modbus
Networking or industrial communications experience
Hardware debugging experience
The salary for this role is expected to be around the €80K mark with a strong wider package including healthcare, pension and additional leave benefits.
