Lead Cybersecurity Engineer – Dublin 2 – Onsite/WFH Hybrid
 
Our client is a well known entity that works within the transport sector, based in Dublin 2 they will require two or three days onsite and can only engage candidates eligible to work in the EU for this position. This role comes with a strong salary and package.
 
Reporting directly to the CIO, this role is to act as a senior advisor in terms of current and future cybersecurity posture within the organisation.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and plan specific industry standards across NIS2 and various state regulations
  • Work closely with hands on implementation team to provide technical leadership and mentoring
  • Act as SME with the CIO for Security processes, projects and general best practice
  • Take responsibility for complex regulatory reporting processes including EU level
  • Ensure all policy documentation is developed correctly and is up to date, while noting and helping to address any training gaps within the organisation
  • Occasional international travel to represent the organisation

 
Requirements:

  • 10+ years of commercial cybersecurity experience including technical and regulatory leadership
  • Deep knowledge in risk, compliance and standard (CSF, ISO27001, NIST)
  • Interaction in previous roles to a high degree with Regulatory bodies
  • Strength in audit, incident management and addressing threat vectors
  • Background checks will be a part of this role
  • Specific certifications should include CISA, CISM, CCSP, CISSP, GIAC or similar
