Graduate Controls and Commissioning Engineer required for a global company based in Dublin.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of controls engineering and will suit a graduate who will learn to collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and commission control systems.
This is a full time hybrid structure position 3 days a week in office/ 2 days remotely
Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of control strategies for energy systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Managers, electrical engineers, and technicians)
Provide technical support during the commissioning phase, including customer training and system handover.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and identify potential challenges or opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including control system diagrams, specifications, and commissioning reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience or internship in controls engineering, commissioning
Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or Python is an asset.
Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
