Full Stack Engineer

IT Search has partnered with a well-established Irish organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, with a strong focus on building and scaling modern web and mobile platforms. They’re looking to add a Full Stack Developer to support the continued growth of their product offering.
This is a hands-on role working across the full development lifecycle, with a balanced focus on backend and frontend engineering. You’ll be contributing to the development of scalable applications, modernising existing systems, and supporting mobile-first initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable applications using PHP (Laravel)
- Develop responsive user interfaces across web and mobile platforms
- Contribute to cross-platform mobile development (Flutter or similar)
- Work with containerised environments (Docker)
- Integrate APIs and external services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimisation
- Support deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a Full Stack or similar role
- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
- Solid frontend skills with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Vue or React
- Experience with Docker or similar tools
- Exposure to mobile development or strong interest in this area
- Good understanding of REST APIs and modern development workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or similar)
- Knowledge of SQL and database design
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing
Strong pipeline of greenfield and modernisation projects, a collaborative engineering environment with real ownership, flexible hybrid working, and clear progression opportunities.
