DBA (MySQL / Oracle) required to join a cutting-edge identity assurance technology company based in Dublin City Centre. Our Client is a market leader in their sector and provides SAAS solutions to governments and large orgs globally.
This is a hybrid working role with 3 days in office in Dublin City Centre. Salary is negotiable and will include 5% pension, family healthcare, income protection etc
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and support of MySQL databases primarily
- Provide support for Oracle databases running on premise and cloud platforms
- Provide database guidance and support to DevOps, Support and Pro Services teams as needed
- Apply DBA best practices
- Be proactive in problem solving and innovation
Requirements
- 3+ years in a Database Administration role
- Strong work experience with MySQL and Oracle databases including performance tuning and general database troubleshooting
- Experience installing, monitoring, and supporting production databases running on AWS
- Knowledge of large-scale data replication technologies (AWS DMS or Oracle Goldengate) preferably
- SQL scripting with experience in PL/SQL and shell scripting
