Data Scientist (Contract)

With a dynamic team and a passion for solving complex problems, they are looking to bring on a skilled Data Scientist to work on exciting projects within a rapidly expanding organisation. As a Data Scientist, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a talented team to drive key projects forward, utilising your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling to unlock valuable insights.
 
Responsibilities:

• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to drive actionable business insights.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve key challenges within the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and project goals.
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimise processes and decision-making.
• Maintain high standards of data quality and ensure the accuracy of results.

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and visualisation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Tableau, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data storage systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced software or tech environment.
