Data Scientist required for an innovative data hub in Dublin city centre. Our client is part of one of the world’s largest conglomerates, although the hub itself feels more like a small, agile, software house. The hub leverages this scale by accessing a wide source of business data and utilizes this to create new bespoke business products.
*This is an initial 6 month contract which is expected to roll
*This role requires 2 days a week onsite in Central Dublin location
* Day Rate – Circa 400 per day
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire data science project lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of machine learning and analysis techniques (e.g., clustering, regression, decision trees, optimization, artificial neural networks, ensemble algorithms, time series analysis) and the ability to evaluate their practical advantages, limitations, and optimal use cases.
- Software development skills to support the operationalization of models across the entire stack.
- Proficiency in data modeling and SQL development.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including automated testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience handling large datasets.
