Cybersecurity Head – 12 month Fixed Term Contract – Dublin City
Our client is a well known semi state body who has engaged us to speak to Infosec leaders with a view to joining them as an Interim Head of Infosec on a salaried basis for a twelve month period.
The role will be based in Dublin City Centre, some flexibility re WFH but the majority of the role will be onsite.
This will suit an experienced leader in this area with experience in leading initiatives across multiple areas, network security, risk, regulatory concerns and general infrastructure. The role is to join and lead the existing team, understanding current posture and initially maintaining BAU and bringing incremental improvements across various areas.
The role:
Act as SME for all aspects of security, adopting existing programmes and roadmaps and liaising closely with management in terms of reporting, threat assessments and recommendations
Provide leadership across governance, regulatory and legislation related issues where appropriate
Take ownership of risk related projects, audits and work with existing third party providers to maintain a high level of coverage as well as procurement considerations
Monitor and manage incidents with internal teams as well as take part in DR and BC
Responsible for network architecture design and operations (cloud and on prem where appropriate)
Mentor team members, guide and advise on best practice and engage closely with senior level stakeholders regarding reporting, leadership and issue resolution
Requirements:
10+ years of Cybersecurity experience and leadership with formal education beyond graduation to cover specific Certifications in CRISC, CSIM etc.
Deep knowledge of incident analysis and Network/Infrastructure and GRC requirements
Regulatory experience a definite advantage
High level of comfort in working with senior stakeholders
Framework experience with NIS2, NIST and related areas plus vendor management
Team leadership/personnel management on a day to day basis over your career
Ability to work well under pressure
