Cyber Security Analyst Dublin. Hybrid. One day per week onsite. A growing technology led organisation is building out its cyber and risk capability and is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to support the maturity of its security controls across a large-scale production environment. This is a broad role sitting between technology, delivery teams and external partners, focused on improving how security is embedded into day-to-day operations rather than ticking boxes. Plenty of autonomy, real influence and strong exposure across the business. What you’ll be doing
Acting as a primary contact for security related queries across internal teams and external partners
Supporting the rollout and ongoing improvement of security policies, standards and controls
Identifying, tracking and helping remediate security risks across platforms, systems and supplier
Reviewing the effectiveness of security controls and highlighting areas for improvement
Contributing to security documentation, guidance and internal training material
Supporting supplier assurance and third-party risk activity
Participating in security improvement initiatives and automation where appropriate
Producing clear reporting for technical and non-technical stakeholders
What you’ll bring
Several years’ experience in cyber security, IT risk, governance or security operations
Strong experience with security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, DORA
Solid understanding of enterprise technology environments including cloud and SaaS platforms
Practical experience working with security standards, control frameworks or audit environments
Comfortable engaging with engineers, vendors and business stakeholders
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
Any experience with reporting tools, workflow automation or analytics is beneficial but not essential
