AWS Serverless/Lambda DevOps Engineer – Dublin South Remote/Hybrid
Our client is a multinational medical devices provider and is expanding its Dublin office to centralise some global Serverless operations here. They have engaged IT Search to speak with AWS Engineers with specific experience in building Serverless solutions to drive their Dublin expansion in this area.
This will suit an engineer comfortable working across teams, delivering architectures and bringing knowledge within AWS and Serverless Computing who is looking for a new challenge and is eager to take on this key role in the years to come. Role Responsibilities
Liaise closely with international colleagues to adapt, architect and deliver Serverless solutions
Understand impact of processes across various departments, DevOps, Development, Product and Senior Management
Technical Leadership and Mentoring across new teams (Platform Engineering/Mobile Development), working locally in an immature environment but highly mature globally
Communicate ongoing objectives to board level, working within and shaping global distributed architectural strategies
Take responsibility for teams of engineers, mentoring and guiding to bring teams on this journey
Requirements
8/10 years of post grad commercial experience the majority of which should be within Development/DevOps/Architecture
Serverless experience a must, with cloud native environments being your natural home, Microservices and Lambda, NoSQL and related experience a plus
Development ability is key on an ongoing basis, ideally with Python or NodeJS
Observability, pipeline knowledge, IaC all should be a given for this role
