Development Manager – Medical Devices – South Dublin/Remote Hybrid
 
Our client is a world-renowned leader in the area of medical devices and is currently expanding the Irish team and they have engaged IT Search to speak to a Development Manager to work with teams across DevOps and Mobile development to help them expand and improve delivery processes.
 
Role Responsibilities

• Work as direct manager for up to ten colleagues across DevOps and Mobile Develop
• Liaise with several development and product teams as well as Global Sr Management to create and execute technical and performance plans for each team and colleague
• Advise in a hands on capacity when required, giving technical coaching while understanding and or designing specific architectures
• Take responsibility for project planning and delivery

 
Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial experience within a large environment, at least 4 in a personnel management capacity, growing teams and ensuring clarity of purpose for your reports
• Ongoing hands on experience in AWS solutions design ideally with some hands on mobile development experience as well (if you have published apps that will be a significant benefit)
• Strong release management knowledge
• Additional experience in Python, Terraform, Mongo or similar as well as any Android/iOS
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in South Dublin on a regular basis
