QA Test Analyst – Regulatory Finance Systems (Contract)
Hybrid – 3 days on-site in Dublin
Day Rate Contract
6+ months (with extension potential)
A leading banking institution is seeking a QA Test Analyst to support the ongoing transformation and delivery of key finance and regulatory reporting systems across the EMEA region. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, you’ll be part of a global team delivering testing solutions for complex, data-driven platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute testing activities across finance/regulatory reporting systems.
- Collaborate with development, QA leads, production support, and change management teams.
- Conduct end-to-end ETL testing, including data migration and quality validation.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to support test analysis and data validation.
- Drive defect tracking, test reporting, and QA cycles from start to finish.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scripts, and RTMs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery cycles.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years’ hands-on QA/testing experience.
- Strong SQL skills; ability to interrogate large datasets.
- Experience with ETL/data warehouse testing in a financial or regulatory setting.
- Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Familiarity with Unix commands and scripting.
- Exposure to test automation tools (Tosca or QTP preferred).
- Experience using Quality Center (QC/ALM) or equivalent tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in banking or financial services environments.
- Working knowledge of regulatory capital or finance reporting systems.

- Comfortable working with globally distributed teams.
- Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and interdependencies in complex environments.
