Software Development Manager

Software Development Manager required for Shannon based technology automation manufacturing business. Our client provides solutions to well know multinational MedTech businesses. The HQ is based in Shannon and this is a hybrid working model 2 days remote / 3 days onsite

Responsibilities

• Lead and the Software Development Team (c20+ engineers)
• Set goals and objectives for the team to build a high performing team.
• Set and manage strategic objectives for the Software Engineering team
• Enable to the team to deliver on full lifecycle of software integration projects from requirements gathering, development, test and equipment commissioning
• Plan project deliverables and software architecture strategies
• Planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies
• Work with various departments to ensure correct platform selection and cost
• Ensures on time delivery of both new development and recommissioned software solutions
• Develop lasting partnerships with key customers

Requirements

• 10+ years experience including some background with PLC, HMI, SCADA, Robotics etc
• 3+ years in a senior management role
• Experience in development of large-scale automation and IOT software solutions
• Experience in Department Management
• The ability to deliver strong strategic and technical leadership balanced with strong people management
• Agile software development experience

Remuneration

• 100K base salary
• 10% bonus
