Senior Site Reliability Engineer – USA East Coast hours – Full Time – Fully Remote
My client is a market leader providing innovative technology solutions, adapting to global communication in business and society, more specifically within VR and related tech.
To maintain their scaling alongside the company success they have engaged with IT Search to speak to Site Reliability Engineers, looking to grow their careers within a fast moving environment, working within a small team on a fully remote basis to manage various aspects of their cloud platform relating to reliability, scalability and performance.
 
The role will suit a mid-level SRE, fully fluent in English and eligible to work in the USA, comfortable working on full lifecycle projects, happy to work as part of a relatively small team who is motivated and eager to learn what they don’t already know.
 
The role:

• Managing availability (some on call required occasionally) and post mortems on potential outages
• Utilising Node experience and debugging issues relating to networking
• Managing Infrastructure set up with a focus on High Availability
• Validating releases and deploying various builds across AWS Services
• Managing and deploying multiple AWS Service (e.g. EC2, CloudFront, S3).

 
Requirements:

• 6+ years of post grad SRE or related experience
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes plus ECS/EKS ideally
• Good Linux knowledge, IaC and additional tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform or similar)
• A background in programming will be ideal
• Must have fluent English and be comfortable working 9/5 Eastern
• Additional Database and security protocols a definite advantage
• In depth experience in Monitoring and CI/CD
