L2 IT Systems Support Engineer required for our client, a global financial services provider based in Dublin city centre.
You will join a busy IT service delivery team to support the company staff in the use of their computers and associated software. The successful applicant will participate in the design, definition and deployment of the standard set of applications that are used by the business services teams throughout company’s global offices.
Responsibilities:
Provide End-user IT support by responding to IT service desk phone and email requests.
Providing Hardware support (desktop, laptop, server, smart device) and Software application installation support.
Administering user accounts in various systems, including on-boarding new staff
Telephony and videoconference support, deploying smartphones and other mobile devices
Liaising with telephone service providers
Work weekend shifts (max 12 weekends per year)
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of current Microsoft Windows operating systems (desktop and server), Microsoft Active Directory
Working knowledge of other Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Azure Cloud, Group Policy, and SCCM
