IT Project Manager

We are in search of an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of IT projects for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive positive change and transformation across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, to ensure the successful execution of IT projects.
2. Project Execution: Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through to closure, including tracking progress, resolving issues, and ensuring project goals are met.
3. Clear Communication: Effectively communicate project status, objectives, and expectations to stakeholders and team members, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
4. Technical Expertise: Possess the technical knowledge and skillset necessary to understand and manage IT project details, and provide guidance to project teams.
5. Feasibility Assessment: Collaborate with the Business Analyst and other relevant team members to assess project feasibility, making informed decisions regarding timeframes and budgets.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
7. Change Champion: Challenge team members in a positive way, encouraging innovation and driving positive change within IT projects.
8. Microsoft Experience: Utilise Microsoft technologies and tools effectively to make informed decisions about upcoming IT projects and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration).
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft technologies.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to assess project feasibility and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter with a genuine drive to lead positive transformation.
• Passion for IT project management and a commitment to the company’s mission.
