Head of ICT Projects
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Management Professional to oversee their IT Programmes. This role would suit someone from a highly regulated environment, with financial sector experience – Banking, Insurance, Big 4. This is a key role in ensuring the optimal management of several concurrent projects of varying size and complexity across multiple business areas and corporate functions. You will be leading a team of Project Managers and PMO analysts. If you have 10 + years’ experience delivering large change programmes across the full SDLC this may be an exciting move for you.

  • Ensure effective delivery of ICT projects, leading a team of Project Managers/PMO
  • Ensure best practice, reporting, and governance of ICT projects across the organisation.
  • Participate in planning, scoping and analysis ICT Projects and PMO activities, facilitating end-to-end estimation and managing cross-team dependencies to ensure that project goals are measured and accomplished in-line with business objectives.
  • Assist ICT Senior Management in the definition and operation of strategic resource management processes and procedures, including demand management.
  • Establish and maintain project management and control standards, including effective stakeholder engagement in addition to management of project issues, risks, and change.
  • Ensure standardisation of project implementation methodology whilst driving complex projects from concept to fully operational.
  • Management of project reporting by Project Managers to Project Boards, Project Executives, and the Project Management office.


  • 10+ years of project management experience, working across the entire project lifecycle, and the full SDLC for the project management of in-house built software solutions
  • Stakeholder engagement and Leadership experience in managing multiple teams
  • Experience in the use of formal project management methodology to manage project areas such as resources, budgets, risks, changes, and process improvements
  • Adept in Strategic Planning and working on Change Programmes in medium to large enterprises
  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
  • Professional Certification or qualification in Project Management PMP/Prince 2/PMBOK
