Graduate Production Support Engineer required for a cutting-edge software house in Cork that develops complex algorithmic trading solutions for global customers. This role will suit an ambitions junior/graduate profile with some experience (internship) in production support that wants join a leading software product house, with flexible working arrangements (ideally hybrid in-office and remote)
Responsibilities:
- Production Support of all platforms developed and operated by the company
- Provide technical support to API clients
- Work on the backlog of support tickets
- Effectively communicate to internal and external customers
- Maintain documentation on issue description/resolution, best practices etc.
Requirements:
- Computer Science graduate
- Experience working with java-based web servers and applications, working with Linux environments
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python / Shell / Perl scripting
- Ability to distinguish between critical and non-critical issues
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Be available for rotating shift
