IT Search has partnered with a rapidly growing AI company as they are seeking to hire an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer. They are keen for someone to join their Dublin office and be a part of a dynamic team that is developing innovative solutions at the cutting edge of technology.
They are seeking a talented Embedded Firmware Engineer with strong experience in Linux/ARM embedded applications. You will work on developing firmware for a range of AI-driven products, leveraging your skills in C/C++ and expertise in ARM SoCs, microcontrollers, Linux drivers, and various communication protocols.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and optimize embedded firmware in C/C++ for ARM SoCs and microcontrollers.
Design and implement Linux drivers to support new hardware components.
Work with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with their AI platform.
Diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring robust and reliable firmware performance.
What You Bring:
Proven experience with Linux/ARM embedded application development.
Strong C/C++ programming skills, especially on ARM SoCs and microcontrollers.
Hands-on experience with Linux driver development.
Familiarity with various communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
My client are offering a starting salary between €60,000 – €70,000, performance bonus, health insurance, pension plan, and the chance to work on groundbreaking AI projects in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Their office in based Dublin and whilst you would be expected onsite occasionally, there is plenty of flexibility to work remotely
