Database Administrator (Oracle and SQL) required for provides asset and liability management business in Dublin. The office is based in Dublin city centre and its hybrid model with 1 day a week in office
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and support of Oracle 19c and SQL Server (2012-2019) Databases
- Provision of Database security, resilience, continuity and disaster recovery.
- Supporting the business in the planning, testing and implementation of related projects
- Database upgrades, backup configuration etc
- Oracle and SQL Server Database performance tuning
- Managing quarterly Patch Set Updates
- Help manage process and procedure documents for the DBA team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years’ experience as a SQL Server and Oracle Database Administrator
- Database Security and Monitoring experience
- Oracle Database 19c performance tuning
- Experience in planning, implementation, testing and documentation of Patch Set Updates
