Data Engineer

Data Engineer required for a leading IT services and consultancy firm based in Dublin.

This Data engineer will be working closely with cross-functional teams of Software Engineers, QA Automation, Operations, DB Architects and business stakeholders to integrate the data feeds onto a Cloud based Datawarehouse.

This is a permanent hybrid structure role 2 days a week in office/ 3 days remotely in Dublin South near LUAS station.

Responsibilities

• Design a high performing data schema to support a dashboard report
• Develop data automation and monitoring scripts
• Develop ETL scripts to perform data transformations
• Integrate with a legacy database system to support data analysis
• Perform business analysis and requirements gathering to support a variety of data projects
• Define and implement web analytics

 
Requirements:

• 4 + years of experience as Data Engineer
• Experience with Big Data Technologies such as RedShift – is a must
• Experience with relational database systems and AWS Cloud platform
• Strong experience building data pipelines, Data management, Security, AWS service & Data Analytics
• Advanced skills in data scripting and database development technologies (Python – preferable)
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Talend, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills

 
 
Remuneration:

• Starting salary: €75K – 85K DOE
