We are searching for an experienced Senior Project or Program Manager to drive large-scale global markets projects. As Senior Project Manager, you will sit on the Risk & Finance Technology team which is responsible in delivering enterprise-scale solutions that support the bank’s Risk and Finance divisions, with a strong focus on Global Markets. As part of a global organization, you will work on work on high-impact projects that drive the bank’s success across diverse financial markets. The Role:
– Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of projects that span multiple teams and regions, focusing on Global Markets initiatives. – Ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards, managing risks, and providing comprehensive visibility into project health and performance. – Collaborating with senior stakeholders in Risk, Finance, and Global Markets to deliver world-class solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements. – Driving the development of innovative testing strategies and ensuring full compliance with audit and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the delivery of complex projects/programs with a specific focus on Global Markets, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements. – Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple regions and teams, ensuring transparent communication and consistent delivery of business objectives. – Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, manage risks, and monitor performance to meet project goals. – Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from analysis and development to testing and release, ensuring best practices are followed. – Collaborate with internal technology teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of the bank’s Global Markets division.
Skills & Experience Required:
– Extensive experience in Project and Program Management within Global Markets, including Governance, Stakeholder Management, and Risk Management. – Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in a highly regulated, global financial services environment. – In-depth knowledge of financial products, markets, and business processes, with experience delivering technology solutions for Global Markets teams. – Strong communication skills with the ability to manage global stakeholders at all levels, driving alignment across regions and functions. – Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with collaborative tools such as JIRA and Confluence. – Familiarity with Agile methodologies and how they apply to large, cross-functional projects. – Solid understanding of global financial regulations and how they impact risk and finance technology solutions.
The plan for this role is to be a long-term engagement. The position will start as a 6month contract but the plan is to extend significantly beyond that.
