AWS DevOps Build/Release Engineer – Telecoms – Dublin (hybrid onsite/w/f/h) – Contract
 
Our client is a multinational telecoms firm based in South Dublin and due to continued expansion they have partnered with IT Search to speak to experienced DevOps Engineers with Build/Release experience on their behalf to join this new project.
 
This role will require working across various departments, Developers, QA and Product teams to focus on deployment quality across AWS Infrastructure. A key point for this role will be improvement of automation scripting, build in Jenkins/Bamboo and IaC scripting.
 
They are open to both permanent employees and daily rate contractors, candidates should be eligible to work in Ireland as my client cannot offer sponsorship at this stage.
 
Experience Required:

• 5+ of commercial Build/Release experience and related tools (Octopus, TeamCity etc.)
• Significant ability in Scripting; Python, Bash, PowerShell
• A keen eye for Automation during deployment, spotting areas of improvement and creating automation scripts to address
• Additional knowledge of .NET environments a distinct advantage as well as Microservices knowledge
• Strength in AWS, Docker, CloudFormation (or similar services) will be required
• Candidates coming from a DBA background (preferably SQL Server) will adapt very quickly
